This Sunday in Portland, OR I will have a table at the Stumptown Comics Fest; also, I will take part in a panel on political cartooning, featuring Shannon Wheeler, Barry Deutsch and possibly Scott Bateman. If you are in the area, have some free time and want to enjoy comics without the distractions of toys and has-been B-movie actors, c'mawn down. Chris Baldwin shall present a mighty force, while Jenn Manley Lee makes happy show. That's just off the top of my head. Plenty more talented folks will deserve your attention. Give unto them.
Oh, where, when and all that: Sunday June 6, 2004, 1-6pm, Old Church in Downtown Portland, SW 11th & Clay. Expect to find me half-prepared with random stuff that I have hastily thrown together at the last minute. As is my nature.

Posted by: Bill at June 6, 2004 07:22 PMThings went very well. It is too bad you couldn't come, because it'd be cool to finally meet you and I think you would have made a good audience member for the panel discussion—which I moderated very, um, incompetently, to be honest; hope it was fun anyway. :)
