If you've ever had the chance to ride the London Underground, you're probably familiar with the strange, but cheerful, "mind the gap" warning that rings out via pre-recorded message each time the train doors open, so that the forgetful don't accidentally fall under the train and die while packing off to Piccadilly to nibble some cheese-and-pickle sandwiches over tea with Aunt Regina. Perhaps you've never desired it, but here's the unprecedented opportunity to meet the woman behind this voice. And she seems more than a bit cheeky. The voice of London subterranean transportation taunts the visitor with various breathily voiced come-on lines like "c'mon, click my demos... you know you want to" whenever a new page loads. There's even an area of the site where one can play various little games to find out what Emma looks like (she's a bit shy and hides her face through most of the site). I can't vouch for anyone else, but Emma's prim-and-proper English accent has definitely wormed its way into a special place in my ugly American heart.
