Owen grew. That's right—"Growen Owen!" So naturally his fiendish parents have put him in a new outfit. Yes, it's blue. But, c'mawn, blue is a good color. He has blue eyes, too, so he looks really good in it. Besides, click through and look at that get-up. Not exactly butch. Adorable, though. Especially when he keeps smiling like that.

Posted by: Kevin Moore at February 18, 2004 10:19 AMDon't take this the wrong way, but he's starting to look more "there", if you know what I mean. Tiny babies are kind of mushy, personality-wise (in my non-parenting experience), but somewhere early on there's this thing that happens, and you start seeing hints of the person they'll be later.
Tick-tock, tick-tock...
Posted by: sd at February 19, 2004 08:41 AMdamn you and jen make cute baby. when's #2? can i come and hang out?
had the funniest realization last week at work. haven't changed a baby diaper in about 20 years. i've done adult ones, but they don't squirm as much. my cow orkers really thought that was funny.

Completely! He's a very smiley little guy. When he's not sleeping, eating and fussing because he pooped himself. And he's very alert. He looks at everything, takes it in, processes it and procrastinates until deadline day and hastily throws something together. Just like daddy.

When #1 starts earning his keep.
Just kidding. :)
Posted by: Kevin Moore at February 19, 2004 04:17 PMI would pay $200 to be a godfather. You could sell them off like the Queen sells knighthoods.
Posted by: J. Pinkham at February 19, 2004 10:46 PMYAY! Owen is lookin smokin' in the new outfits. Got the pictures of his afternoon with Sydney - needless to say, they were adorable (thank you for sending them!). Looking forward to another playdate, especially now that Owen is getting more alert. Is he squeaking and cooing lots now?
