One of these days, Jim Siergey will get his own site, but for now, ZNet Toons will do. Here's the latest from his incredibly silly, yet sweet and intelligent mind. Great chops, I love his brush strokes and thick use of black spaces. And I totally envy his lettering. This cartoon in particular is best appreciated by cartoonists and cartoon history lovers. For those who didn't drink the kool aid, Dreams of a Rarebit Fiend was an early comic strip by Windsor McCay (a bit more in depth and easier to navigate here), best known for Little Nemo in Slumberland, which I think all of us have ripped off at one time or another. I like Siergey's use of the Rarebit formula. We all have crazy dreams like that some days.
