I had meant to upload these reruns one day at a time, but then time has this funny habit of running ahead of me, occasionally looking back to thumb its nose nya-nya-nya style, and keeps on going. So instead of trying to catch up with it on its terms, I'll work on my own terms. (Thenkyuhveddymuch) Here are the rest of the Cartoons About Feelings About Work strips so far created. New ones are forthcoming—which, when you really think about it, is unfortunate. Deep is our reservoir of loathing for one's job.

The really fun thing about these cartoons is trying to imagine what events might have inspired them in your own life. The one about the laundry is my current favorite.
Posted by: J. Pinkham at July 29, 2003 05:55 PMThanks! Actually, I think it's supposed to be some vague product making machine. The event that inspired the cartoon was constant harrassing by the ad sales staff for ads that the customers invariably changed or disapproved, despite having given me crappy source files and/or strict but badly conceived layout concepts to begin with—all while fighting with a computer that kept crashing.
Anything with the angry ball of hate should be easy to deduce.
